As 2024 draws to a close, it’s time for us to reflect on what has been a year full of new achievements and milestones for Kiln. Let’s take a look at a few metrics summarizing our year, grouped by our four core values - trust and transparency, technical excellence, innovation-driven meritocracy, and people first.
Trust & transparency
- $13B a new all-time high in assets staked through Kiln’s technology. This represented a 271% increase year on year!
- NPS score of 67 from our enterprise customers.
- 81+ new partners including VanEck, Safe, Coinshares, and more.
- 120,000+ new users for Onchain and DeFi solutions, especially with the launch of ETH staking within Trust Wallet.
- Over 34 podcast episodes were released, covering staking, Bitcoin staking, and DeFi, with interviews from Sreeram (EigenLayer), David Tse (Babylon), and Paul Frambot (Morpho), reaching more than 200,000 listeners.
- 1 visual rebrand to better reflect our positioning.
Technical Excellence
- N°1 independent ETH staking provider
- 2 new products launched with Kiln DeFi and Kiln Widget.
- 0 Ethereum validators slashed.
- 2.8% higher rewards on ETH than the network average. (Download our performance reports here.)
- 20+ new protocols supported, including new DeFi protocols, Bitcoin protocols, and Layer-1s such as TON or Berachain.
- 5 external audits (contract, penetration tests) performed successfully.
- SOC2 Type 2 audit renewed.
Meritocracy of ideas
- 800,000+ ETH staked through our new Kiln Onchain pooling product, all visible transparently through the Kiln Explorer and via onchain data.
- 2 new open-source project released: Near Validator Watcher and Commit-Boost
- 58 posts published on the Kiln blog, including a 3-part series on Ethereum client diversity from our Ethereum lead engineer.
People first
- 1,800+ guests welcomed at our Kiln Rendez-Vous events.
- 43 new Kilners have joined us, bringing our total to 82.
- 2 new offices opened in Singapore and New-York.
- 4 offsites for all Kilners to meet!
