Kiln is excited to be a launch partner for Jito (Re)staking — a protocol that amplifies the utility of your staked SOL and SPL tokens, ushering in a new era of economic security and scalability within the Solana ecosystem.

This solidifies our mission to support and enable innovation in blockchain infrastructure while enabling users to maximize staking rewards on Solana through restaking.

What is Jito Restaking?

Jito Restaking enables extending the security of staked tokens to multiple networks without additional effort or capital, supporting onchain or offchain applications on Solana.

Jito Restaking introduces an additional utility layer for already staked SOL and any SPL token by allowing them to participate in additional network activities, which is rewarded with supercharged staking rewards.

We are particularly excited to support Non-Custodial Nodes (NCNs) and Validator Registry Tokens (VRTs) building with Jito (Re)staking. These primitives represent the next wave of protocols utilising a distributed process to validate and confirm information.

This approach helps further decentralize and secure the Solana blockchain while enabling new use cases that leverage its existing economic security.

Check out some of the recently announced NCNs like Leaf Protocol.

What it means for users

  • Enhanced Rewards: Continue earning your standard staking rewards while unlocking additional incentives from the networks you choose to support.
  • Greater Impact: Play an active role in strengthening the Solana ecosystem by supporting new and exciting projects.
  • Flexibility and Control: Decide which networks and applications to support, tailoring your participation to your interests and values

Jito Restaking offers a new layer of value and UX for users staking SOL and any SPL token while unlocking additional incentives from the networks you choose to support.

By enabling users to craft personalized staking and slashing structures through multiple networks, Jito restaking unlocks a never-seen-before diversification level for restaking and delegation strategies where risks are clearly defined and managed, leading to increased trust and stability.

Eventually, users participating in Jito Restaking play an active role in strengthening the Solana ecosystem by supporting new and exciting projects.

To learn more about how Jito Restaking works, check out their official announcement post and GitHub repository.

We are excited about the future of staking on Solana with Jito and look forward to continuing our role as a key enterprise-grade infrastructure provider.

About Jito

Jito (Re)staking is a multi-asset staking protocol for Node Consensus Networks. The protocol tokenizes staked assets as Vault Receipt Tokens for enhanced liquidity and composability. Node consensus networks can use Jito (Re)staking to easily customize staking parameters, slashing conditions, and economic incentives to tailor their security and tokenomics.
