We’re excited to announce that we are now a Super Representative (SR) on the Tron network. Only a Super Representative (SR) or a Super Partner (backup SR) can act as a validator on the Tron network, helping validate transactions, produce blocks, and maintain the security of the network. We are thrilled to be an active member of this growing ecosystem.

What is a Super Representative in the Tron Network?

A Tron Super Representative is a node elected by TRX holders to help validate transactions, produce blocks, and maintain the TRON blockchain network's security. The TRON network uses a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism, which means that TRX holders vote for representatives, instead of directly participating in block production.

Key aspects of Tron Super Representatives (SRs):

  • Block producers: SRs validate transactions and produce new blocks on the TRON network.
  • Rewards: SRs earn block rewards and voting rewards, which they can distribute to voters as staking incentives.
  • Governance role: SRs participate in network governance, including protocol upgrades and key decisions.
  • Election process: 27 SRs are elected at any given time, with 100 additional candidates acting as Super Representative Partners (SRPs) or backup SRs, who can replace inactive or underperforming SRs.

How it works:

  1. TRX holders vote for SR candidates using their staked TRX (referred to as Tron Power).
  2. The top 27 candidates with the most votes become active Super Representatives and are responsible for block production.
  3. Backup SRs (SRPs) rank below the top 27 and may still earn rewards but do not actively produce blocks unless they receive enough votes to become an SR.
