We are excited to announce that Claire Wells has joined Kiln as our new Chief Legal Officer leading Kiln’s global Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams. With a strong background in legal and regulatory affairs, Claire brings a wealth of experience to help us grow our business.
Claire joins Kiln from Coinbase where she was Associate General Counsel & Policy Lead. Prior to that, she was the Lead International Counsel at Plaid and Head of Legal & Business Affairs - EMEA at Circle. Claire trained and qualified at A&O (now A&O Shearman) and holds an MA from Cambridge University.

Her collaborative approach, especially with the sales and product teams, and deep industry knowledge and experience navigating the complex regulatory landscape for Fintechs and Digital Assets in International Markets, will be crucial in driving Kiln’s growth globally.
