Today marks an exciting milestone for Kiln as we announce Stephen Leahy's appointment as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas. Stephen joins us with a wealth of experience and a strong alignment with Kiln’s mission.
Stephen began his career in Operations and FX Derivatives at two Institutional Asset Management firms in Boston before transitioning into the tech world and diving into the crypto space in 2016. His journey included involvement in early-stage projects within the Cosmos ecosystem, followed by a significant role at Circle as Director for Capital markets partnerships starting in early 2021. During his time there, Stephen played a pivotal role in driving the growth of USDC, Circle's stablecoin, from a market cap of $3.8 billion to $55 billion in less than three years, with a substantial portion of this growth attributed to Capital Markets clients and use cases.
Stephen's extensive experience in business management will be instrumental in scaling Kiln’s operations across the Americas. In just a few weeks with us, he has already brought valuable insights and expertise to our strategic roadmap.
We are thrilled to expand Kiln’s presence in the Americas, particularly in the U.S. It is an honor to welcome Stephen to our team! Stephen is already hiring for his team. Please check his video presentation and the available job openings here.
